Evangelo Costadimas (Canada/Greece) is an independent curator and artist living in Hong Kong. EC, as he is known, has been a practicing artist since the early 90‘s with six solo exhibitions and numerous group shows.

EC gained extensive curatorial experience when he worked as resident curator for Osage Group of Galleries and Osage Art Foundation before embarking on a solo career. He was also the assistant curator for Hong Kong’s participation in the 52nd Venice Biennale (2007).

Prior to that he has worked as a telecom engineer for twenty six years in a variety of roles involving large multi-disciplinary teams, he comes with a long track record which includes research, software design, verification, teaching, project management, communication and coordination skills.

EC holds a Master of Fine Arts from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) and a professional certification in Exhibition Studies and Art Curatorship (with distinction) from the Hong Kong Arts School. He was also one of four participants in the 2008-2009 Hong Kong Jockey Club - Para/Site Art Space Curatorial Training Programme.

EC was born and raised in Ethiopia by Greek and Italian parents. He later moved to Canada where he studied and worked for ten years before setting off again. He has lived in Asia since 1986. Places he has called home include Addis Ababa, Athens, St. Catharines ON, Ottawa, Istanbul, Tokyo and Hong Kong. He has worked in or visited more than thirty countries.
